Product & Game Design
Family Picture Maker
I had the privilege of designing a game that celebrates children’s families. I led design, research, and production of this project. Inclusion and belonging was a core design pillar for this project, and I dedicated 3 months of pre -production time to meet with DEI & Belonging consultants as well as conducting consumer research surveys. Special thanks to Gold Creek Games for partnering with us for development.

Research
I initiated 2 research studies with Paramount's Consumer Insights department to ensure that we were creating a valuable and inclusive experience for our users, while operating under the limited restraints of our game's technical scope and production timeline. Both research studies took place during the pre-production stages of development.
Design Ideation and Brainstorming
After research was completed, ideation and brainstorming took place to determine the game's flow and core concepts. After multiple rounds of stakeholder review and revision, we decided to move forward with a game centered around creating customizing avatars.

Thumbnail Revisions
We were scheduled to release a live update to add in new Dora! IP 6 weeks after the games initial release. We decided to take the opportunity to review and revise the game's thumbnail image to improve the game start rate. The new icon improved game start rate by 15%!
